We love to interpret our clients vision for their event with a gorgeous and most delicious cake. It is wonderful to see the joy and excitement of our couples!
When Denise shared with us, "We are an outdoor's lover couple, and would love to incorporate mushrooms, grasses and sky blue into our wedding cake", I knew that something beautiful would come out of this concept:)
Flavor is the most important aspect of our cakes, and we loved to brainstorm with our client about the best and most fresh flavor combination: Orange blossom cake, paired with Red Raspberries and Lemon Curd Mousseline. As all our cakes, we iced our cake with our custom Rolled chocolate -never fondant-, colored in the dreamiest sky blue ombre effect!
To reinforce the "Woodlands" concept, we created paper thin "ruffles" that simulated tree bark. Sugar decorations included Mushrooms, berries and many types of leaves.
One of the beauties of our rolled chocolate -besides being heavenly delicious- is that it is the most "weather proof" icing possible. We delivered this cake under a 97F weather, and even though that the tent was Air conditioned, it was warmer than desired!
We were so thrilled to have a small role in this memorable celebration, for the sweetest client of all and with a top notch group of vendors!
