Here is our Vintage Travel Bags Wedding Cake, created for the sweeter couple of all on their wedding colors! Five tiers of the most delicious Toasted Almonds with sweet Apricots, French Vanilla with Raspberry White Chocolate and Chocolate Truffle with Salted Caramel, iced in our signature rolled chocolate:). This time, we textured our chocolate in crocodile and ostrich patterns creating a super cool realistic look! Our cake was iced in textured rolled chocolate, and all decorations where modeled of modeling chocolate. Only the two vintage locks were made of gum paste, to achieve that thin realistic look! One of our favorite feature of this cake was the addition of the vintage postage which was printed with our edible ink printer in wafer paper:) Pics of the couple where also printed in wafer paper and decorated the base board of this very heavy cake! We converted the original pics to sepia, trying to achieve that typical vintage look! We particularly loved the two keys that accompanied the cake...and couldn't resist punching hearts on them...because these two are truly in love! One of our very favorite feature of the cake was the Crocodile and Ostrich textures of the "Travel Bags"! We used the fabulous texture mats from Marvelous Molds, with whom we have been collaborating and consulting since March. We also used their large and small buckles, and their zipper mold!...their products are so easy to use and expedite the production work of a cake like this, which is highly appreciated by any busy baker! Many of the stamps we found online, other we purchased on Etsy as digital files...oh, we love Etsy!!! We can only wish Erika and Simon a life full of happiness and togetherness...and beg them to keep in touch, because we want to see their family grow!!!!
