Tonight's wedding cake was inspired by the grandeur of the Great Gatsby, the bride's stunning Rem Acra bridal gown, and by the most gorgeous Jay Strongwater serving pieces!
An arrangement of our Sugar Flowers served as a cake topper and was intended to be preserved! To celebrate this memorable occasion we freshly baked five tiers of the most delicious Almond Sponge paired with my very favorite Apricot Mousseline, with a touch of Almond Crunch. Our cakes are always iced with the thinnest and most delicious satin finished Rolled Chocolate:)...It is SO delicious, because it is pure Chocolate!!! Always wonderful to work with the amazing staff at the Weddings at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, i-do Boutique, Goodwin Lighting, The Chuck Taylors, Robin Wood Flowers, Jonathan Gibson Photography - Cincinnati Wedding Photography and with the most amazing couple! Our cake topper was made of dozens of sugar flowers and was designed to be preserved by the bride. Roses, Tulips, Dahlias and tiny hydrangeas were colored in an elegant combination of periled ivory, platinum and a soft champagne-gold!
This little "art deco" cupcake was displayed by the wedding cake, and was to be enjoyed by Brady, Rachel's son!
