The mastermind behind this project are the Docents of the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, please read below in the own words their vision for this project,
~'The Docents of the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati are creating a cook book to benefit the CAC’s Education Department initiatives. Our cookbook will include dishes and cocktails created by the most distinguished Cincinnati chefs and mixologists who have been inspired by the contemporary artists and exhibitions featured at the CAC. You might call it a cookbook celebrating contemporary art, or an art book, or a field guide to Cincinnati cuisine, or a manifesto on the role of visual art, food and creativity within our community.'~"
This book will be for sale for $50, as part of the CAC's fundraising effort. Each chef (including yours truly) has 5 pages on the book including photos and recipes of a dish created and inspired by an art piece.
