Contemporary Art Center of Cincinnati Cookbook + ArtBook

It is with great pleasure that I share with you some behind the scenes/phone shoots of the Contemporary Arts Center Cookbook + ArtBook, that I have the honor to be part of. The uber talented Gina Weathersby Photography. documented this book with her unique, incredible talent!
The mastermind behind this project are the Docents of the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, please read below in the own words their vision for this project,
"THE PROJECT:
~'The Docents of the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati are creating a cook book to benefit the CAC’s Education Department initiatives. Our cookbook will include dishes and cocktails created by the most distinguished Cincinnati chefs and mixologists who have been inspired by the contemporary artists and exhibitions featured at the CAC. You might call it a cookbook celebrating contemporary art, or an art book, or a field guide to Cincinnati cuisine, or a manifesto on the role of visual art, food and creativity within our community.'~"
This book will be for sale for $50, as part of the CAC's fundraising effort. Each chef (including yours truly) has 5 pages on the book including photos and recipes of a dish created and inspired by an art piece.     Since opening in 2010 in Cincinnati, Venezuelan born Ileana Saldivia’s studio, Sugar Realm has become a preeminent wedding and celebration cake design boutique. In 2018, due to her husband's job, Ileana and her family relocated to Philadelphia, and so did her Sugar Kingdom. Sugar Realm’s cakes and confections are known for their sophisticated flavors, unique designs, artistic sugar flowers, innovative techniques, and architectural compositions. The studio’s wedding cakes are regularly featured in leading bridal, lifestyle, and cake decorating magazines. In the December 2015 issue of “Cincinnati Magazine,” Sugar Realm was named “Best of the City” and featured on the cover. Saldivia’s blog “Life in a Sugar Kingdom” is regularly visited by hundreds of cake enthusiasts and professionals.
