My favorite part of this job is to meet with new clients and share with them the excitement about their wedding. I love hearing and seeing their vision for this memorable day. The architect in me loves the challenge of designing something unique, absolutely tailored for a specific event. I find it so rewarding when our cakes feel like they "belong", and that it couldn't be displayed anywhere else, because a part of the story would be missing. Today's wedding cake was basically an interpretation in sugar and chocolate of Mindy's vision for her wedding. I LOVE the color palette that she chose: fresh and stylished, absolutely glamorous and perfect for the time of the year!
