A cake and a love story that deserves many pictures!
Our design was inspired by Kelli's beauty, softness, kindness, and love of nature. All made out of sugar, by my little hands. My personal favorite: those tiny chocolate bugs!
To celebrate Kelli & Jake's union, we freshly baked the most delicious combinations: Our signature Almond sponge paired with Amaretto Mousseline with Almond Crunch, Almond sponge paired with Apricot Mousseline, and French Vanilla sponge paired with Triple Berry Mousseline. As always, iced with our signature rolled chocolate.

My favorite part of this job is to meet with new clients and share with them the excitement about their wedding. I love hearing and seeing their vision for this memorable day. The architect in me loves the challenge of designing something unique, absolutely tailored for a specific event. I find it so rewarding when our cakes feel like they "belong", and that it couldn't be displayed anywhere else, because a part of the story would be missing. Today's wedding cake was basically an interpretation in sugar and chocolate of Mindy's vision for her wedding. I LOVE the color palette that she chose: fresh and stylished, absolutely glamorous and perfect for the time of the year!
Decked with our custom made sugar flowers and iced in a lovely shade of satin blue rolled chocolate panels, to match the bridesmaids dresses.
To celebrate their union, our client chose one of our best selling combinations, Almond Amaretto with Almond crunch! If you could only perceive its aroma!

My favorite part of this job is to create cakes that represent who our client is...Caroline is a teacher; to celebrate her and Shane, we made the most delicious chocolate chalkboard wedding cake!
We included sentences from their favorite song, written over our chocolate panels with edible paint to simulate a chalkboard effect!

To celebrate Mindy and Mitch's union, we freshly baked the most delicious Orange cake, paired with alternated layers of Orange Blossom, Raspberry and Strawberry Mousseline.
As with all out cake, this cake was iced in our signature rolled chocolate, textured to simulate tulle and inspired by Mindy's spectacular custom designed Vera Wang gown, and accentuated with our custom made sugar flowers and flower-lace appliqués!
We personally removed all sugar flowers from the cake and properly arranged them for save transportation. It's so special to know that they will be preserved as a special memento of this memorable day.
We were honored to participate in Teresa & Jordan's wedding. For them, we put together the most delicious, Kate Spade inspired wedding "Mesa de Postres". Teresa wanted to celebrate her hispanic heritage with bite size desserts and some of the traditional hispanic sweets.
As always, the fabulous team of viva bella events, orchestrated a flawless event and brought together a top notch team of creative partners.
To celebrate Lissa and Jay's union, we freshly baked layers of Almond, Pistachio and Honey, and French Vanilla, Raspberry and white Chocolate. Iced in our custom made rolled chocolate and painted with edible gold, this cake pays homage to Lissa's Egyptian Heritage!

To celebrate Cameron and Scott's union, we freshly baked layers of Almond Apricot and French Vanilla with Raspberry and White Chocolate, iced in our custom made rolled chocolate! (never fondant).
Our own custom made sugar flowers decked the cake, and were intended to be preserved. We personally removed them from the cake and safely placed them in our bakery boxes, so that they made it safe during transportation!
Our very favorite was the subtle custom marveling effect in our rolled chocolate. Shades of purple and touches of Navy where the colors of this special celebration!
