I love having a small role in my client's special occasions. Making sugar flowers is a personal favorite. Yes, they take FORERVER to make, and yes, I love every minute of it. It's interesting to me, that when you create a new sugar flower, you can impart them with certain personality. Think of a Rose, it can be a Romantic Rose, a Modern Rose, a High Couture Rose, a Formal Rose...each one with a specific aesthetic and appeal!
Over these 10 years of business, I have safaely removed sugar flowers from many, many cakes and I have boxed them for my clients. Often times they are preserved by the bride, mother-of-the-bride and even grandmothers!. From all the boxes I have used in the past, this is my very favorite one. When kept away from direct sun light and moisture, these flowers can be preserved indefinitely!

This is a cake I created for the union of two amazing people a few years back. It was inspired in a stained glass piece they had commissioned to a local artist, which captured their love for traveling. My humble (and very delicious) rendition was made by hand painting chocolate panels, and adorning the cake with custom made pulled sugar flowers. Each facade of this square shaped cake represented a special trip. Depicted were iconic images of Israel, France, Russia, and my client's hometown, Cincinnati.

When scheduling a cake tasting with us, we make sure that you try some of our best selling cake combinations, as well as some additional fillings, from our seasonal palette of fillings and buttercreams. Clients are encouraged to make their own combinations based on their personal preferences!
Our sketchbooks and portfolio are always at hand to share past orders, and illustrate our design process, as well as samples of our hand crafted sugar flowers!
