From Wedding Cake to First Year Birthday Cake!
This is the cake we recently made for a favorite repeat client...It is a Peter Rabbit themed b-day cake to celebrate Rush's Birthday #1!
Inside is the most delicious Toasted Almonds cake with Hazelnut Mousseline and Belgian Chocolate ganache. Iced in our signature, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate (never fondant!)
This was one of the flavors that our client had on her own Wedding Cake:)

French Vanilla cake paired and iced with Vanilla Mousseline!...the little cake topper on his own cake was made using our edible ink printer of an edible wafer paper sheet, and it was mounted in a piece of yummy chocolate!
Peter was made out of chocolate and detailed with edible paint. We used a mix of wet paint technique and airbrushing:). The edible grass that surrounds him was custom made by painting a sheet of wafer paper, that was shredded with our spagetti kitchen aid attachment...how cool (and quick) is that!

I always "plan" the number of sugar decoration around a cake dummy of the same size of the real cake. There is nothing more frustrating that finding that you have run short, or even worts, made too many extra pieces that can't fit on the actual cake!!!
